It takes a village!

Let's raise a community of early learners. Through our campaign and support from other communities, your community can benefit by becoming part of the movement.

What does it mean to be an early learner community?

This is a commitment to improving the access and quality of early learning experiences and environments for the children in your community. Early Learning Communities are places that promote learning and development prenatally through the early years of elementary school, making sure that the “building blocks” for early and lifelong success are in place. An Early Learning Community employs targeted strategies to ensure that all children, families, and communities have equitable opportunities to reach these outcomes.

The process your leadership will take depends on where your community is at with early learning and is tailored to start with existing early learning opportunities, supports, and systems. The goals and commitments that are set by a community are there to benefit not only the children and the families but the community as a whole.
